History
The Glenmore Gymnastics Club originated in the spring of 1978. It is a
non profit organization providing quality gymnastics instruction at a
reasonable cost. Administration of the club is done by the
Club Director with the assistance and guidance of the Board of
Directors.
Organization
The Club consists of both recreational and competitive
programs. Each program within the Club is run by its own
coordinator and each has their own group of qualified
coaches. The Board of Directors oversees the operations of
both the competitive and recreational programs.
Philosophy
The
Club is dedicated to fun, fitness, and
learning the fundamentals of gymnastics. Glenmore Gymnastics
symbolizes excellence in both recreational gymnastics and provincial
level competitive gymnastics in Alberta.
Mission
Statement
To
provide a positive experience for children ages 4 to 18+ years to
participate in gymnastics in a fun, safe, friendly, respected, and
affordable environment.
Coaches All
of our coaches are required to
participate in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) to
ensure that they all maintain a national standard of coaching
excellence. All of our coaches also undergo specific training
for both gymnastics and trampoline. Our coaches are
recognized and respected as creative and educated leaders.
