I am Sydney Jones, the Women’s Artistic Team Lead for Glenmore
Gymnastic Club. I have been involved with gymnastics for the
past sixteen years, and I am going into my ninth season of
coaching with Glenmore! I have my C2 WAG certification and level 3
trampoline. My goal for this program is to share my passion for
gymnastics in order to inspire the generations of young women to come.
This program is available to girls beginning at the age of 4,
continuing into early years of adulthood. We currently offer
Compulsory groups from JO levels one through five, closely following
the developmental system, and JO levels six through nine in our
optionals program. Our team of enthusiastic and skilled coaches
will work with our athletes through each level - helping them master
the skills needed to advance to the next level. Athletes are
encouraged to work through the levels at their own pace to ensure
safety, confidence, and FUN! |
I can't wait for this season, and many seasons to come! Go team Glenmore!
|Acro Team Lead|
Hi, I am Bobby Knight, the Team Lead for the Acro Gymnastics program at Glenmore.
Gymnastics is pleased to offer a competitive program for Acrobatic
Gymnastics. This program is available to girls and boys beginning at
the age of 4 and continuing into adulthood. We offer groups for
pre-competitive, provincial, and national level athletes based on the
JO (Junior Olympic) system & FIG (Federation of International
Gymnastics) system. Led by our team of enthusiastic and skilled
coaches, gymnasts will work through levels mastering skills needed to
advance to the competition stage. Skills are decided based on the
experience of the Acrobatic Team Lead of the club. Athletes will learn
how to effectively communicate with their teammates and coaches to
ensure positive communication, problem solving skills, and safe
environment for all.
Looking forward to another great competitive season!
