Glenmore Gymnastics offers a competitive program for Women's Artistic Gymnastics. This program is offered to girls beginning at age 5 and continuing to 18 years of age and offers groups for developmental, pre-competitive, and provincial level athletes. Led by our team of enthusiastic and skilled coaches, gymnasts will work through each level mastering skills needed to advance to the competition stage. Skills are decided based on guidelines from Gymnastics Canada, the Alberta Gymnastics Federation, and the experience of the Technical Director of the club. The athletes are encouraged to work through the levels at their own pace to ensure a positive self image, a reduction in fear, and a safer environment for all. 

Groups

Developmental 1

• Designed for ages 4 - 6 years old

• 5 hours per week

• Training times: Monday and Friday 5:00 - 7:30pm

• Monthly fees: $153.52

Developmental 2&3

• Designed for ages 5 - 7 years old

• 6 hours per week

• Training times: Thursday 5:00 - 8:00pm and Saturday 8:00 - 11:00am

• Monthly fees: $183.69

Pre Competitive 1

• Designed for ages 6 - 9 years old

• 9 hours per week

• Training times: Monday and Thursday 5:00 - 8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am - 11:00am

• Monthly fees: $274.22

Provincial 1

• Designed for ages 9+ years old

• 9 hours per week

• Training times: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 5:00 - 8:00pm

• Monthly fees: $271.58

Provincial 2

• Designed for ages 9+ years old

• 12 hours per week

• Training times: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 4:30 - 8:30pm

• Monthly fees: $318.75

Provincial 3

• Designed for ages 9+ years old

• 14 hours per week

• Training times: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:30 - 7:45 and Friday 4:00 - 8:15pm

• Monthly fees: $348.08

All monthly fees are paid by post dated cheques for the 1^st of each month (all NSF cheques are subject to a $25.00 fee).

Volunteer Commitment

All families of the competitive program are required to commit to 3 gym cleanings between September and June. Three post dated checks for $100 each are submitted with your monthly training fees and are cashed at the end of the year if your cleaning commitment is not met by June.

At the Parent Ice Breaker meeting in September, each family is required to sign up for an additional volunteer opportunity. These will include such things as; cookie dough selling, clothing selling, planning athlete parties, etc. A post dated cheque for $200 is required for this commitment and will be cashed if the commitment is not fulfilled by the end of June.
