Competitive Gymnastics Development at Glenmore
Competitive gymnastics provides a structured pathway for athletes who are ready for increased training, technical development, routines, and competition experiences. Glenmore Gymnastics Club supports athletes through Pre-Competitive, Xcel, and Canadian Competitive Program pathways. Each program has a distinct training focus, and placement is based on readiness rather than online self-selection.
Coaches consider strength, flexibility, body control, skill foundations, consistency, confidence, and the athlete’s ability to learn safely in a team environment. Training may include progressive work on vault, bars, beam, floor, tumbling, dance, conditioning, and routine preparation. As athletes develop, coaches set appropriate challenges and communicate expectations for attendance, effort, safety, and team participation.
Competitive placement is by invitation. Families interested in an assessment, transfer, or future opportunity should contact Glenmore with the athlete’s age, recent experience, and current training background. Our staff can explain the pathway and whether an assessment is appropriate. Program pages above provide an overview; confirmed schedules, fees, commitments, and available positions are communicated through the club and Uplifter.
